| The climate is sub-tropical, the Gulf stream keeps the temperature consistently warm. There is no wet season but expect rain all year. Bermuda very occasionally gets hit by hurricanes but this does not happen often. The hurricane season runs from June to November. |

| This is a conservative society which is heavily influenced by British ways. They find it offensive for people to walk about away from the beach in swim wear or without shirts. |
| Getting Around |
| There is an extensive network of well maintained roads. Tourists are not permitted to drive cars but motorcycles are available to hire. Some roads are narrow and winding and street lighting is intermittent outside of the urban areas. buses and taxis are available and safe. Water taxis are popular, buy your pass before you board as cash is not accepted. |

Christian holidays for 2010 include: Lent which commences on 17 February, Easter from 2-5 April, Ascension Day on 16 May, Whitsun (Pentecost) on 23 May, Corpus Christi on 6 June, Assumption on 15 August and Christmas Day on 25 December. |
