| Vaccinations & Health Alerts |
| The medical facilties are fairly good but expensive. Take out comprehensive travel insurance before travelling to ensure all costs are covered. It is recommended that you vaccinate against Hep A and Typhoid. Be aware that Dengue Fever is present. |

| There are 3 islands in the Cayman Islands group. All contain offshore reefs and mangrove fringes surrounding most of the coasts. The climate is hot and tropical all year with short rains from May to October. |

| There are harsh penalties for drug smuggling. Marine and agricultural imports/exports are highly regulated here. |
| Getting Around |
| Both Cayman Express and Cayman Airways offer regular flights between the islands. Car hire and taxis are widely available. The only other form of public transport is the minibus which is fairly reliable and safe. However, they only travel along the main roads. A ferry runs between North Sound and Rum Point on Grand Cayman, which takes about 40 minutes each way. The Caymans are flat and small enough to get about by bicycle. |
